WATERBURY, Conn. - Coming off their best season in program history (ten wins), the men's hockey team is proud to announce that sophomore forward Evan Lugo has been named to the DII/III Mens East CCM All-American Ballot
In 2018-19, Lugo led the Eagles with ten goals, giving him 20 goals in the past two seasons. Lugo also racked up 19 points this season, which tied for the team high with Jake Raleigh. He sits at 37 career points in two seasons.
"He's a quiet leader in the locker room who leads by example on the ice," head coach Peter Whitney said.Â
While Lugo's quiet nature may take the spotlight away from him at times, his production over the past two year and especially this season speaks for itself.Â
