WATERBURY, Conn. - The 2019 CACC Baseball Preseason Coaches Poll was released today, revealing Post University as the number one team in North Division.

Post received seven first place votes and finished just ahead of Dominican College in the North standings.

The Eagles are coming off a first place finish in the North Division in 2018 with a 20-12 CACC record to go along with a 32-20 overall record. 

"It's a nice complement to the program to be thought of highly in the pre season poll," Head Coah Ray Ricker said. "This team has high expectations for ourselves and are working every day towards achieving those goals. We cannot focus on anything else but how we come to work every day and stay in the present moment."

The Eagles will open up the 2019 season at Virginia State University on Saturday, February 16th. They will play a doubleheader against VSU on Sunday, February 17th, followed by a single game on Monday, February 18th.
