Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University baseball team will take on USciences in Philadelphia in a doubleheader in the Eagles first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game on Wednesday afternoon starting at 1 p.m.

The Eagles have not played since March 13, a 10-0 loss to No. 9 Franklin Pierce. The last three games for the Eagles have been postponed. They currently sit at 4-9 overall and are eighth in the CACC. They are one of just two teams in the CACC who have not played a conference game.

Leading The Way For The Eagles

Early on in the season, some Eagles have made the Top 10 in some key statistical categories in the CACC. Freshman Don Walsh (Hamilton, N.J.) is tied for second in home runs with two.

On the mound, graduate student Mike Costello (Manassas, Va.) is tied for ninth in strikeouts with 17.

About USciences

USciences comes into the game 1-10 overall and 1-3 in the CACC. The Devils lost their first nine games before defeating Nyack on Mar. 23 in the first game of a doubleheader. They are led by junior Mark Gervasi who leads the team with a .483 batting average. 

Overall the Eagles have dominated the series, leading 24-11 all-time, including a sweep last year in a doubleheader.
