Box Score 2 ALBANY, N.Y. – The Post University softball team split Wednesday afternoon's doubleheader at Saint Rose at the Plumeri Sports Complex. Junior 
Kaitlin Derby (Douglaston, N.Y.) notched her third win of the season as Post took down Saint Rose 4-1 in the first game. The Golden Knights took game two over the Eagles, 6-2. 
Game One – Post 4, Saint Rose 1 Derby shut down the Golden Knight offense and helped Post win its first official road game of the 2014 campaign. She gave up one earned run on six hits in six innings while picking up four strikeouts. Sophomore 
Samantha Esque (Springfield, Pa.) came in for the seventh inning and recorded her second save of the season. 
Senior 
Rebecca Erb (Yardley, Pa.) led the charge for Post with an RBI single in the first inning. Erb also doubled, walked and scored a run in the game. Olivia Reeves then tied the game at one apiece with a homer in the fifth for Saint Rose. 
Sophomore 
Kaitlin Iacomini (Pleasant Valley, N.Y.) scored the go-ahead run for the Eagles in the sixth inning when senior 
Stephanie Mendez (White Plains, N.Y.) reached on an error. Redshirt freshman 
Kayla Kresley (Alburtis, Pa.) drove in Erb with a double in the seventh followed by a single by Iacomini that brought Kresley in for the game's final run. 
Game Two – Saint Rose 6, Post 2 Senior 
Christina Udris (Levittown, Pa.) got Post going early in the first inning again with an RBI single. Saint Rose rallied however, and the Golden Knights tacked on all six runs in the third and fourth innings. Reeves hit her second long ball of the game with a two-run shot in the third. 
Saint Rose took command in the fourth inning, scoring four more runs to take a 6-1 lead. Erb drove in senior 
Jackie Bonamassa (Staten Island, N.Y.) in the fifth inning, but that was all for the Eagles. Esque (3-4) was handed the loss for Post. 
Bonamassa went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Senior 
Stephanie DeMartino (Staten Island, N.Y.) combined for four hits on the day including a double. Anna Carey made it difficult for the Eagles' offense to get going and struck out seven batters to lead Saint Rose (5-8) to victory. 
On Deck: Post (9-10, 5-1 CACC) will play a doubleheader at #14 Caldwell next. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. on Friday, April 4.
