Box Score 2 LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The Post University softball team won its sixth-straight game by sweeping Georgian Court Friday afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action. The Eagles held on in game one to win 7-6 and had an 8-4 comeback victory in the second game. Both freshman 
Erica Ragazzone (Philadelphia, Pa.) and redshirt freshman 
Kayla Kresley (Alburtis, Pa.) went deep to lead the offense for Post. Sophomore 
Samantha Esque (Springfield, Pa.) was strong on the mound and picked up her sixth win as well as her third save. 
Game One – Post 7, Georgian Court 6 It was a pitching duel for the first four innings as Abigail Merryman had a no-hitter for GCU until the fifth inning. The Lions took a 2-0 in the third, but the fifth inning is when Post's offense started to get hot. Kresley and senior 
Rebecca Erb (Yardley, Pa.) scored the tying runs in the inning when senior 
Casey Sclafani (Brooklyn, N.Y.) reached on an error. 
Senior 
Jackie Bonamassa (Staten Island, N.Y.) kept the fifth going and drove home Sclafani on a single to left to give Post a 3-2 lead. Ragazzone increased the lead to two in the sixth with her first homerun of the season. Senior 
Stephanie DeMartino (Staten Island, N.Y.) picked up her 20th RBI of the season with a sacrifice fly in the seventh. 
The Eagles took a 7-2 lead in the seventh as Ragazzone struck again with a two-run double. The Lions made a comeback in the final inning, but Esque came in to snag her third save of the season as Post held on, 7-6. Junior 
Kaitlin Derby (Douglaston, N.Y.) improved to 6-3 as she gave up four earned runs and struck out three in 6.1 innings. 
Game Two – Post 8, Georgian Court 4 The Lions were looking good early and took a 4-0 lead when Dara Schroeder stole home in the fifth inning. Post came through when it counted most for the second game in a row, and the bats came alive for the Eagles in the final two innings. 
Kresley tied up the game with one swing of the bat in the sixth with a grand slam, her fifth homer this season. The Eagles took the lead in the seventh when Ragazzone walked with the bases loaded. The Eagles kept pouring it on in the last inning as Erb hit a two-run single to right center, and Ragazzone scored on an error after Sclafani hit a single through the left side. 
Ragazzone pitched five innings as well, giving up six hits and two earned runs. Esque (6-5) didn't give up a single hit in two innings of relief and had a pair of strikeouts. Four of Post's batters had multi-hit games as the Eagles scored eight runs in the final two innings to grab the 8-4 win. 
On Deck: The Eagles (14-12, 12-4 CACC) will welcome Adelphi to LaMoy Field for a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m. to wrap up their fourth game in four days.
