Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University baseball team will play two Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheaders this week as it takes on Dominican on April 2 (Noon, 3 p.m.) and Nyack on April 5 (Noon, 3 p.m.).
The Eagles are currently riding a hot streak as they have won five straight games including a 6-2 win at Briarcliffe on March 27 in an out of conference game. Junior
Dylan Pastor (Hewlett, N.Y.) went 3-for-5, and drove in two runs on a double in the seventh inning, giving the Eagles a 4-1 lead at the time. Freshman
Joseph Enderle (Hicksville, N.Y.) was stellar on the mound, pitching seven innings, and giving up two runs - one earned - on five hits, while striking out four. He is now 1-2 on the season.
Post is currently 8-8 on the season, but is undefeated in CACC play at 4-0, putting them in first place.

Mike Shada (Holtsville, N.Y.) has been hitting the cover off of the ball during the early part of the season, as he is tied for the CACC lead in home runs with four. He is also tied for second in RBI with 17.

Matt Cambria (Toronto, Ontario) is fourth in the conference in ERA, with a stingy 1.61.
About DominicanThe Chargers are currently 6-8 overall and 1-3 in CACC play to begin the season, putting them in eighth place. The Chargers won their most recent game, a 4-2 out of conference win at Queens.
On offense, the Chargers are led by Robert Alonso. He has a .377 on-base percentage and leads the team in hits with 16. He has the lone home run for Dominican this season.
About NyackNyack is currently 9-9 on the season, and 3-1 in CACC play. The two teams played in a non-conference game on March 5 during Post's Spring Break Trip. The Eagles dominated the game, 9-2. The Eagles scored six runs in the first inning to propel them to the win.
In Nyack's most recent games, it split a doubleheader against Wilmington, winning the first game, 3-0 and dropping the second, 6-4.
John Kennedy is currently ninth in the conference in batting average at .343. He is also eighth in the conference in RBI with 12 and second in the conference in stolen bases with 10. On the mound, Cole Tobin has been a force. He leads the conference in wins, with four. He also is the CACC leader in strikeouts with 31.
