Jose Rodriguez drove in the tying run before a double play ended the inning. Singles by senior Ian Toro (New York, N.Y.) and freshman JJ Cormier (Hialeah, Fla.) put runners at the corners with one out in the ninth. Blair hit into a double play to end the threat.

Kris Chatman singled and advanced to second on an error to begin the bottom of the ninth. He moved over to third on a sacrifice bunt. Cole Tobin singled home the winning run.
