HERSHEY, Pa. – Only eight of the 20 schools were able to finish round two of the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional on Tuesday as rain delayed the tournament for three hours. The Eagles will still have six holes remaining when play resumes tomorrow morning.

Junior Thomas Rees (Cardiff, Wales) moved into a tie for third overall at seven-over par as he eagled his first hole of the day and had a 50 through 12 holes. Sophomore Ross Earnshaw (York, England) is five-over through 12 holes and held his position in a tie for 14th.

Freshman Sebastian Noesgaard (Copenhagen, Denmark) also eagled the par-five first hole and is at a 67 through 15 holes and tied for 32nd. Sophomore Anthony Netto (Dusseldorf, Germany) is at 54 with six holes left to play and is currently tied for 59th. Freshman Anthony McNamara (Beacon Falls, Conn.) carded a 40 on the front nine, five better than in round one, and is at 67 through 15 holes.

The Eagles are currently alone in seventh place, one stroke behind Bentley and two behind fifth-place St. Thomas Aquinas. Wilmington still holds a one-stroke lead over the rest of the field with six holes to play in round two. Davis & Elkins is the leader in the clubhouse after completing the round with a score of 309.
