LAKEWOOD, NJ (May 6, 2011) Post University's softball team will take on the No. 5 Caldwell Cougars at noon today in the CACC Tournament. Yesterday the No. 6 Eagles picked up a loss against Dominican before defeating Concordia 6-1 to advance.

Earlier in the season, Caldwell came to Waterbury for a double header as both teams came away with a 6-3 win on April 11 after splitting the pair.

Yesterday Caldwell defeated Wilmington, but lost to top seeded Georgian Court.

The winner of the Post v. Caldwell game will advance to take on the winner of the Wilmington v. Bloomfield game, which will also be played at noon. The other two teams will be eliminated. The two winning teams will compete at 2pm this afternoon determining who will advance to the final day of the tournament.

On the other side of the bracket, Georgian Court and Dominican will square off. Neither team has a loss in the tournament so far meaning both teams will be among the final three teams remaining on Saturday. The tournament is played using a double elimination format.
