WILMINGTON, DE (May 13, 2011) Post University's baseball season came to an end Friday evening with a 7-0 loss to Dominican in the CACC tournament. The Eagles defeated USciences 4-0 earlier in the day to advance against Dominican who fell to Wilmington earlier in the day.

The Eagles best scoring opportunity came in the top of the third when Ian Toro led off with a single to centerfield. Alex Jahn hit a sacrifice to the pitcher moving Toro over before advancing to third in with a single to from Todd Blair. Both Blair and Toro were stranded on base after two fly outs for the Eagles.

The Eagles will end their season with a (24-18, 12-8 CACC) record.

Steven Corbett suffered only his second loss of the season and will end the year with a 6-2 record along with five shutouts. Corbett went five innings with two strikeouts on the night. 

Dominican now advances to play against Wilmington for the Championship on Saturday.
