WATERBURY, Conn. (April 9, 2011)---The Post University softball team swept a doubleheader with Goldey-Beacom on Saturday, winning 10-4 and 7-6.

Casey Sclafani and the always-scrappy Sammy Pagano each drove in 3 runs in the Eagles' 10-4 win in game one.

Shortstop Christina Udris finished 1-for-3 with 2 RBI and Kim Bentson continued her hot hitting, going 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Ashley Cummings gave up just 3 earned runs over seven innings of work to earn the victory. Cummings (9-7) was also the winning pitcher in game two, pitching 5.2 innings in the Eagles' 7-6 win.

Post University (15-14, 5-1 CACC) was led by another standout performance at the plate by the ridiculously-good Amy Mantha, who went 4-for-4 with 3 RBI.

Stephanie DeMartino was also terrific, going 1-for-3 with 2 RBI.

The Eagles return to action on Monday, when they host Concordia College in another exciting conference doubleheader at LaMoy Field. First pitch is scheduled for 3 pm.
