New Haven denies Eagles baseball, 7-2

WATERBURY, Conn. (April 21, 2011)---The Post University baseball team fell to the University of New Haven, 7-2, on Thursday night at Municipal Stadium.

Kevin Fearon and Ralph Dieguez each came up with RBI singles for the Eagles.

Shane O'Connell went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI for the Chargers.

Post University used seven different pitchers to navigate the nine innings, in an effort to get the staff some extra work and save the starters' arms.

John Jeanes, Sean Sylvester, Phil Sirois, and Ian Toro each threw an inning for the Eagles, while Evan Anderson and Steven Sirko each threw two innings.

The team returns to action Saturday when they travel to Philadelphia to take on the University of the Sciences.
