WATERBURY, Conn. (March 5, 2011)---The Post University softball team fell to Bloomsburg College, 8-0, Saturday at the Mineola Athletic Complex in Florida.

Bloomsburg pounded out ten hits, and held the Eagles to just one, a fourth-inning double by catcher Amy Mantha.

Six different Bloomsburg players drove in at least one run, including catcher Laurie Mauro, whose first-inning triple opened the scoring.

Cait Paine went the distance for Bloomsburg, striking out 11 Eagles hitters.

Ashley Cummings gritted out 5.1 innings for Post University (0-1, 0-0 CACC).
