Baseball Defeats Dominican 2-0

WATERBURY, Conn (April 21, 2010) Post University's baseball team defeated the Dominican Chargers 2-0 under the lights at Municipal Stadium in Waterbury. The Eagles improve to a 17-18 record overall with the win.

With Tom Sirois pitching for the Eagles in their first night game at Municipal Stadium this season, the game remained scoreless until the bottom of the fifth. Todd Blair hit a lead-off triple down the left field line. Brendan Barry walked putting runners on the corners, setting up Tyler Wilschetz who hit a triple giving the Eagles a 2-0 lead. 

Sirois would hold on for his second win of the season with four strikeouts and only three hits.

Post University will be in back in action at home against USP on Saturday.
