Eagles Golf Places 6th in Johnny Palmer Classic

NEW LONDON, NC (February 23, 2010) Post University's Golf team placed 6th in the spring season opening Johnny Palmer Classic. David McGregor* (74-84—158) was the highest among the Eagles with a 19th place finish.
Guilford College took home first place with a team score of 615. Post University shot 651 over the two day tournament.
Marchant de Villier (73-83—161) placed 33rd overall and had a solid showing as a sophomore. In his first appearance as an Eagle, Thomas Rees (86-79—165) was 43rd. Lee Wanklyn (84-81—166) improved on the second day to finish 48th. Gavin Wilson (87-86—173) placed 63rd.
The Eagles will be back in action again on March 7th at the Barton College Invitational.
