Post University Men's Basketball Falls to Felician 80-77

RUTHERFORD, NJ (December 10, 2009) The Post University Men's Basketball team was defeated by Felician College 80-77. The loss drops the Eagles to 2-4 overall and 0-2 in the CACC.

Jon Lucky and Spencer Smith scored 19 points to lead the Eagles. Devon Young tallied a game high 24 points as Antoine Obery scored 17 with 19 rebounds.

To open the first half, the Eagles went on a 7-0 run that was quickly answered as Felician rallied back to take a 15-7 advantage. The Golden Falcons led a majority of the opening half, but the Eagles made a late run to take a 41-39 lead at the break.

In the second half, it was much of the same with Felician leading a majority of the half. With 3:23 to play Trevon Hamlet scored to cut the Golden Falcon lead back to 2. After Felican hit a couple of free throws, Nyheem Sanders connected from long range with :42 seconds to play in the game.

Following two missed Felician free throws by C.T. Williams, the Trevon Hamlet missed a layup as the ball was knocked out of bounds sealing the deal for the Golden Falcons 80-77.

Post University Men's Basketball will be back in action again on Saturday on the road against Nyack.
