WATERBURY, Conn. -- After her third consecutive game scoring 20-plus points last week, junior forward
Alyssa Rossignol has earned her second Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Honor Roll nod of the year for Post University Women's Basketball, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Rossignol helped the Eagles snap their four-game losing streak earlier this week in a 54-33 victory over the College of Staten Island, scoring 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting. Rossignol followed that performance up with a 24-point outing against Goldey-Beacom College, on 11-for-20 shooting in a loss over the weekend, 65-48. Rossignol finished the week going 19-for-33 (57.6%) from the floor, averaging 22 points per game with 11 total rebounds, seven steals, and three assists.
Post University comes home on Wednesday, facing Caldwell University in a conference matchup at 5:30 PM in the Drubner Center. After winning seven straight games against the Cougars from 2019-2024, the Eagles have lost two of the last three games against them, but came out on top in the most recent one, 71-58, at home last February.
