FLUSHING, N.Y. -- Junior Ana Vasilis continued to stay alive at the ITA Regionals, advancing to the Round of 16, before falling to Roisin Boyd of Adelphi University, while the remaining two Doubles teams for Post University Women's Tennis were ousted on Saturday during their matches. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Vasilis played in three matches on Saturday, keeping her Women's Open Singles hopes alive after beating Ela Vasic from Queens College in the Round of 32, 6-3 and 6-1. She faced off against Boyd falling 6-1 and 6-0, ending her run at the individual crown.

Playing in the Doubles with sophomore Julie Merlin, the duo would get past Xu Jedidah and Annabella Aldrete from Saint Michael's College, 8-1, before losing 8-1 in the Round of 16 against Boyd and Katarina Liedbeck of Adelphi University to end their run. 

The only other duo remaining for Post was senior Gioia Turco and freshman Savannah Croft, who fell to Polina Zelentsova and Celia Bastin from the University of the District of Columbia, 8-0, in the Round of 32.
