Israel Hiraldo capped off his big week with yet another award as he was named both the Northeast-10's Special Teams Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week. At the same time, junior quarterback
Tyler Phommachanh was this week's NE10 Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Phommachanh helped lead the Eagles to their first 2-0 start in program history, 39-30, completing 5-of-6 passes in the air for 58 yards while rushing 12 times on the ground for 92 yards and three touchdowns. Phommachanh gave Post the lead for good against Southern Connecticut State University with his 39-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter with 6:28 to go, capping off his big day.
Israel Hiraldo Special Teams/Rookie of the Week - Football
Hiraldo recorded the third-most all-purpose yards for a single game in program history for Post, going off for 255 yards against the Owls this week. The freshman ran back-to-back kickoff returns to the house for 80 yards and 84 yards in the third quarter, while also having 75 receiving yards on six receptions to go along with his two touchdowns in the win. He was named the New England Football Writers Association Gold Helmet Award winner for Week 3, becoming only the second Post player in program history to earn the honor.
Playing their first road game of the season, Post University will head to Pace University next Saturday afternoon at 12:00 PM to take on the Setters in their first Northeast-10 Conference game of the year. The Eagles are 0-3 in the all-time series against Pace; however, they fell in the final minute to them last season at home, 23-21, on a game-winning field goal by Dylan Squillacioti from 27 yards out.
