WATERBURY, Conn. -- On Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams were announced for both Men's and Women's Tennis across all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA. Post University Women's Tennis netted two honorees in seniors
Megan Lombardt and
Nina Langenfeld.
In order to qualify, student-athletes must be in the lineup for 70% of matches that include team scores in addition to achieving a high-level of academic success in the classroom.
This is the second consecutive year in which Langenfeld has been named to the All-District Team for her academic prowess, which puts her at a perfect 4.00 GPA, while Lombardt gets her first recognition, after garnering a 3.96 GPA, as the duo combined for a 3.98 average GPA en route to the award as their athletic careers come to a close.
