Alyssa Rossignol has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Honor Roll for the Eagles, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Rossignol has a big week for Post, averaging 18 points per game during a 1-1 week for the team, in which she also shot 12-for-25 overall (48%) and 12-for-15 (80%) from the free throw line. The junior went off for 30 points on 10-for-17 (58.8%) shooting against AIC on Sunday, including 10-for-10 from the free throw line to lead Post to their first win of the season, in overtime, 81-79. Defeating the undefeated Yellow Jackets, Rossignol hit the buzzer beater in overtime, grabbing one of her 14 rebounds on the week. The junior finished with 36 points, 14 rebounds, five steals, and four assists across the two games.
The Eagles return to conference play with three consecutive games, starting with a road matchup against the University of Bridgeport on Wednesday at 5:00 PM. Post has won seven consecutive games against the Purple Knights since the 2021-22 season after losing the previous eight before that.
