WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the first time this season, sophomore forward
Alyssa Rossignol was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll after her career week for the Eagles as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Rossignol led the Eagles this weekend in their lone game, scoring 32 points on 10-of-16 (62.5%) shooting while going 11-of-14 (78.6%) from the free throw line. Rossignol scored 10 points in the second quarter before going off for 22 points in the second half of the affair, but the Post offense was unable to keep up with Chestnut Hill College at home, falling 70-59. Rossignol also chipped in eight rebounds, two steals, and one assist in the loss.
Post University has their first of only two midweek home conference matchups this season scheduled for Tuesday evening when Felician University comes to the Drubner Center for a 5:30 PM tip-off. The Eagles split their two games against the Golden Falcons last season with both teams winning at their respective home sites and the win for Post at home leading to the CACC North Division title.
