WATERBURY, Conn. -- In her first week with Post University Women's Tennis, Gioia Turco was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Award Honor Roll for the Eagles as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning. 

In her debut, Turco flipped the script after dropping her #3 Doubles match against Assumption University, 6-1, earning two wins against D'Youville University last Saturday. The junior teamed up with senior Megan Lombardt to get a 6-0 sweep in the #3 Doubles against the Saints before slotting into the #6 Singles spot to sweep Emiliia Soloviova in straight sets, 6-0 and 6-0.

Post University is on the road at the ITA East Regional this weekend before coming back home on September 17th to take on Jefferson University in their first conference match of the season, at home, at 3:00 PM on the Edgewood Bath and Tennis Club courts.
