Trinity Bravo - Defensive Player of the Week - Women's Basketball
Bravo was a force in all areas of the game for Post University Women's Basketball last week as she scored 17 total points on 6-for-13 shooting (46.2%) while going to work on the defensive end as well. Bravo led the team in rebounds for the entire week with 13 total while dishing out five assists, forcing seven steals, and blocking one shot in a 2-0 week for the Eagles. Bravo tied her season-high in steals against Georgian Court last Saturday with six in the game while also grabbing seven rebounds and recording all five of her assists.Â
Maya Klein - Honor Roll - Women's Basketball
It was yet another hot week for Klein who averaged 17 points per game during a perfect 2-0 week for the Eagles. Klein was 12-for-28 (42.9%) from the field with a 9-for-20 performance from three-point range (45%) en route to a 34-point week. The Stamford, Connecticut native also added five rebounds, an assist, and a block as the Eagles extended their winning streak to two games with wins over Bridgeport and Georgian Court and home winning streak to eight games.
Deng Deang - Honor Roll - Men's Basketball
Deang had a monster week for Post University Men's Basketball who got back on track with two big conference victories over Bridgeport and Georgian Court as the Eagles moved to 14-4 on the year. Deang averaged 19 points and 7.5 rebounds per game across the two-game week for Post while going 13-for-24 (54.2%) overall, 2-for-6 (33.3%) from three, and a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line. Deang also added on an assist, a block, and two steals while leading the team in shooting percentage, points, rebounds, free throws made, free throw percentage, and offensive rebounds.
