Deng Deang get named to the CACC Honor Roll for Men's Basketball as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Maya Klein - Player of the Week - Women's Basketball
Klein had a career day for the Eagles in their lone game coming off of the holiday break, going for 30 points on 10-of-17 shooting with an 8-for-14 clip from three-point range and a perfect 2-for-2 day from the line. The 30-point output was a career-high for Klein who helped lead the Eagles to a 2-0 start in conference play in a 92-76 victory over Bloomfield College on Saturday. Klein would play in 29 of a possible 40 minutes while also tacking on three steals and a rebound in the victory as Post pulled to .500 for the first time since they were 1-1 this season as they now sit at 5-5 overall.
Deng Deang - Honor Roll - Men's Basketball
Deang recorded his 11
th consecutive game of the season in which he scored double-digit points to help the Eagles win another thriller, this time against Bloomfield College on Saturday afternoon, 72-69. Deang finished just shy of a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds while going 9-for-10 from the floor with his lone miss being a three-point shot. Deang would hit three critical free throws in the final minute to help the Eagles emerge with the win, going 5-for-6 on the afternoon. In addition to his scoring efforts, Deang had two assists and two blocks in the victory which moved Post to 10-1 overall to start the season, their best start in program history.
