Waterbury, CT – Post University men's lacrosse player Jaxon Holden was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Defensive Player of the Week. Teammate Hayden Hindman was named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll.

In a 2-0 week for the Eagles, Holden had 12 groundballs, two caused turnovers and won 21 of his 42 faceoffs.

During a 9-7 win over Saint Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) on March 8, Holden had four ground balls and caused one while going 11-for-20 in faceoffs.

Against American International College (AIC) on March 11, a 13-6 win, Holden had eight groundballs with a caused turnover.

This season, Holden is fifth in groundballs in the CACC with 25 and third in faceoff percentage at 54.8 percent (57-for-104).



Hindman had five goals and an assist during the two wins. Against STAC, he scored two goals while picking up two groundballs.

Against AIC, he had a hat trick, an assist and two groundballs. Hindman has nine goals on the season, ninth in the CACC.

Up next, the Eagles take on Drew University on the road on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
