Jaxon Holden was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Defensive Player of the Week. Teammate
Hayden Hindman was named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll.
In a 2-0 week for the Eagles, Holden had 12 groundballs, two caused turnovers and won 21 of his 42 faceoffs.
During a 9-7 win over Saint Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) on March 8, Holden had four ground balls and caused one while going 11-for-20 in faceoffs.
Against American International College (AIC) on March 11, a 13-6 win, Holden had eight groundballs with a caused turnover.
This season, Holden is fifth in groundballs in the CACC with 25 and third in faceoff percentage at 54.8 percent (57-for-104).
Hindman had five goals and an assist during the two wins. Against STAC, he scored two goals while picking up two groundballs.
Against AIC, he had a hat trick, an assist and two groundballs. Hindman has nine goals on the season, ninth in the CACC.
