Waterbury, CT – Post University women's basketball player Sha'Raya Haines was named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) First Team, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

This is the third time in her career that she was named to an All-CACC team and the second consecutive time she has made the first team. She was also named CACC Rookie of the Year in 2018-2019 and was named to the CACC All-Tournament Team in 2019-2020.

In 15 games this season, Haines averaged 17.5 points per game to lead the Eagles to go with six rebounds per game, 3.7 assists per game while shooting 35.9 percent from three (46-for-128).

The Eagles are 12-3 in games Haines played in this season, which propelled them to their third consecutive CACC North Division Regular Season Championship in seasons they participated in.
Haines scored in double figures in 14 of her 15 games this season, and scored 25 or more three times, including a 30-point performance in a 75-73 win over Goldey-Beacom on January 21. She also scored 26 points in her first game of the season in a comeback New Year's Eve 64-60 win over Georgian Court. In a win over Bloomfield on February 8, she scored 25 points to go with six rebounds and eight assists.

She recorded her lone double-double of the season with 16 points and ten rebounds in a February 14th 66-64 win over Caldwell where she made the game-winning layup and free throw with 5.3 seconds left.

For her career, Haines is the third all-time leading scorer in Post University history with 1,447 points, averaging 15.2 points per game and third in three-pointers made with 216.
