Staten Island, N.Y. - Ophiellia Bernard made the All-East Coast Conference Second Team in the Women's 60m Dash as both the women's and men's track and field teams competed in the East Coast Conference Championships at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

Bernard finished with a time of 7.93 in the finals, finishing third in the event. It was her fastest time of the year. It was also her fourth top three finish of the season in the event. Bernard earned the women's track and field team all six of their points in the championship. Bernard also finished ninth in the 200m dash with a time of 26.33 seconds.

Championship Notes

• For the men's team, Jean Origen finished sixth in the 60m dash with a time of 7.17 seconds, earning the men's team its lone point of the Championship.
• Chris Liriano and James Reyes finished seventh and eighth, respectively in the men's 400 meter dash.
• Anna Bonato finished seventh in the women's weight throw with a throw of 12.97m.
