Waterbury, Conn. – Annunciata De-Souza was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week and Micaela Rosignuolo was named to the Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
 
The Eagles were 3-0 last week, with wins over American International College (AIC), Bentley and D'Youville.
 
De-Souza went 3-0 in no. 1 singles and 2-1 in no. 1 doubles during the week.  Against AIC on September 9, De-Souza won in there sets, 6-3, 4-6, 10-8 over Nalija Vlacic in a 6-1 Eagles win.
 
In a 7-0 win over Bentley on September 10, She won her doubles match with Rosignuolo, 6-4 before sweeping Makena Romagnano, 6-3, 6-0. Against D'Youville, she won again with Rosignuolo, 6-2 before defeating Yulia Kashtelian, 6-4, 7-5.
 
Rosignuolo went 3-0 in doubles, including a forfeit win in doubles no. 3 over AIC. Rosignuolo didn't drop a set in her three singles matches during the week.
 
Against AIC, she beat Maria Cedeno in singles no. 3, 6-2, 6-2. In singles no. 2 against Bentley, she beat Maria Mella, 6-4, 6-2 and in singles no. 2 against Khushi Agarwal of D'Youville she won, 6-1, 6-2.
