HOW IT HAPPENED

Julie Merlin and freshman
Savannah Croft would give the Eagles a shot to earn the Doubles point, winning the #1 Doubles, 6-2, over freshman Bryn Fitzmaurice and sophomore Hayley McGhee.
However, the #2 Doubles would go the way of Dominican (N.Y.) as senior Angelina Amelkina and sophomore Elizaveta Kisel swept through sophomore

Vitalina Sokoliuk, 6-0, sending the Lady Chargers to the Singles with a 3-0 lead.
Post would nearly pull off winning all four Singles to earn their first win of the season, taking three of the four from Dominican (N.Y), but Fitzmaurice's #3 Singles win over Kotala, 6-1 and 6-3, would prevent the Eagles from being able to finish the deal.
