Post University is excited to announce the hiring of Mike Massone as its Track and Field and Cross Country Head Coach.

Massone comes to Post with a wealth of experience and accomplishments.

Most recently, he was the Field Events Coach at Fordham University where he was responsible for all on-track technical and physical preparations of student-athletes.

Prior to Fordham, Massone coached at Saint Peter's where he helped lead the women's team to back-to-back indoor and outdoor Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) championships in the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

Massone also won Coach of the Year on six different occasions. He won the men's indoor coach of the year in 2010, the women's indoor COY in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and the women's outdoor COY in 2011 and 2012.

For all his accomplishments, Massone was inducted to the Saint Peters University Hall of Fame in 2015.

Massone owns a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Saint Francis College as well as a Master's of Arts in Athletic Administration from New York University.

In college at Saint Francis College, Massone was a sprinter and decathlete.
