Team Results – No Team Result (Did Not Finish)
HOW IT HAPPENED
Last week, Cole missed the University of Hartford XC Invitational as a late scratch, a 5K event in which both freshmen
Marcus Wilson and
Anthony Guallpa competed, before nearly breaking the 30-minute mark this week.
Both Wilson and Guallpa competed as well for the Eagles this weekend, with Wilson finishing 47th in 32:57.20 and Guallpa just over a minute behind him in 53rd at 34:04.50 in his first-ever collegiate 8K race.
Of the teams that qualified for team results, St. Joseph's University, Long Island, won the meet with 65 points, followed by Farmingdale State University in second with 89 points and Molloy University in third place with 100 points. Junior Peter Bagattine from Molloy won the event by just 0.10 seconds over Farmingdale State junior Gabriel Aguilar, and four seconds off both of their paces was junior Daniel DeGregori in 28:27.00, taking third place.
WHAT'S NEXT
Back at it in 13 days, Post University will travel to the Cougar Chase Invitational down in Woodland Park, New Jersey, at Garret Mountain Reservation, for a 5:15 PM meet hosted by Caldwell University.
