Daniels, WV – The Post University men's golf team jumped three spots to 14th place and shaved five strokes off their first round, shooting a 15-over par 303 in the second round of the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional at The Resort at Glade Springs
The Eagles are currently 35-over par, just a stroke behind Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference foe, Dominican. Franklin Pierce is the overall leader at 15-over par (291-300), a stroke ahead of Concordia of the CACC.
Leading the way for the Eagles is senior Kyle Hughes (Pulaski, N.Y.), who followed up his 76 on round one with a 75 in round two, putting him 7-over par (151) and tied for 36th. Classmate Brendan McCormack (Watertown, Conn.) shot a 77 in the round and is 9-over par for the tournament, as is sophomore Anthony Guerrera (Watertown, Conn.), who shot a 74.
Junior Anthony Lopez-Woodworth (Mexico City, Mexico) shot a 77 and is 14-over par.
Minwoo Park of Concordia has a three stroke lead and is 5-under par (70-69) for the tournament. Ryan Rucinski of Wilmington is 2-under par.
