Women’s Basketball Fall To Dominican

Orangeburg, N.Y.  -  Post University's dominance of the boards was not enough to secure their second CACC win, as Dominican College found their stride in the fourth quarter and outscored Post 27-16 in the final ten minutes. 

Taylor Ceballos played huge for the Eagles, collecting 16 points on 7-9 shooting from the field along with eight rebounds. Ceballos played much of the fourth quarter with four fouls but remained effective and efficient throughout. 

Sha'Raya Haines added 15 points on 5-13 shooting from the field along with five rebounds and five assists. Haines led the Eagles is 3PT field goals made with three. 

Mia Crooms led the Eagles in rebounds with ten while adding seven points and one assist. 

The Eagles led the Chargers in rebounding by a commanding margin of 53-24 and outscored the Chargers on second chance points 22-6. 

The largest lead of the game was 12, which was held by the Eagles in the third quarter. 

The Eagles will travel to Concordia College on Saturday (Dec. 8) for a 1:00 p.m. CACC matchup.
