Eagles Finish Ninth In Barton Intercolegiate

Wilson, N.C.  – The Post University Eagles men's golf team finished in ninth place at the Barton Intercollegiate after posting rounds of 321 and 334 in the second and third rounds on Tuesday afternoon at Wilson Country Club.
 
The Eagles shot a 133-over par 997.
 
Barton College won the team tournament shooting a 39-over par 903 (299-302-302) followed by Southern New Hampshire (52-over par 916) and McDaniel (62-over par 926).
 
Nolan Mills of North Carolina State won the individual title with a 5-under par 211 (70-71-70) followed by Matt Paradise of Southern New Hampshire who shot a 2-under par 214 (70-74-70).
 
Sophomore Antonio Lopez-Woodworth (Mexico City, Mexico) was the highest finisher for the Eagles placing tied for 28th with a 22-over par 238 (79-79-80).
 
Freshman Fredrik Rollve (Asker, Norway) finished 40th with a 30-over par 246, junior Brendan McCormick (Watertown, Conn.) shot a 31-over par 247, sophomore Michael Erickson (Prospect, Conn.) shot a 34-over par 250 and freshman Anthony Guerrera (Watertown, Conn.) shot a 47-over par 263.
 
Up next for the Eagles is the Revolutionary College Golf Classic in Elkton, MD on March 18-19.
