Quechee, V.T. – Freshman Fredrik Rollve (Asker, Norway) shot a 4-over par 76 and sophomore Michael Erickson (Prospect, Conn.) shot a 5-over par 77 as the Post University men's golf team sits in a tie for ninth place after the first round of the Quechee DII Challenge in Quechee, Vt.
 
The team finished the round with a 25-over par 313.
 
Rollve is tied for 24^th place and Erickson is tied for 30^th. Freshman Anthony Guerrera (Watertown, Conn.) finished with a 6-over par 78 and sophomore Matthieu Sicard carded a 10-over par 82. Classmate Joshua Conlan (Sheffield, England) finished a stroke behind Sicard.
 
St. Thomas Aquinas shot a 1-under par 287 to lead the team event after the first round, four strokes ahead of Southern New Hampshire and Bentley.
 
Kevin Gately of St. Thomas Aquinas and Miguel Siercke of Wilmington lead the individual event after each shooting a 4-under par 68.
