Keene, N.H. – The Post University men's golf team finished in fourth place with an 11-over par 587 at the Franklin Pierce Invitational on Monday afternoon at Bretwood Golf Course.
The Eagles shot a 295 in round one on Sunday, and a 292 on Monday.
St. Thomas Aquinas took home the title with a 24-under par 552, followed by Southern New Hampshire (574) and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference foe, Dominican (581).
Individually, freshman
Fredrik Rollve (Asker, Norway) finished in eighth place with an even-par 144 (73-71), a stroke ahead of sophomore
Michael Erickson (Prospect, Conn.) (71-74).
Sophomore
Matthieu Sicard (Marseille, France) finished with a 7-over-par 151 (73-78) with classmate Antonio Lopez-Woodsworth (Mexico City, Mexico) finishing with an 8-over par 152 (78-74) and freshman
Anthony Guerrera (Watertown, Conn.) finishing with a 9-over par 153 (80-73).
Matt Paradise of SNHU took home the individual crown with a 9-under par 135 (66-69). Four players from St. Thomas Aquinas finished in the top six.
Up next for the Eagles is the Quechee D-II Invitational at Quechee Golf Club in Quechee, Vermont on September 19-20.
