Baldwinsville, N.Y. – The Post University men's golf team was tied for eighth after the first round of the Mike Bello Spring Invitational with a 23-over par 311 at Timber Banks Golf Course. Freshmen Matthieu Sicard (Marseille, France) and Michael Erickson (Prospect, Conn.) each shot a 76 to tie for 14^th individually and sophomore Carlos Fernandez-Herzog (Madrid, Spain) shot a 79 which puts him tied for 39th.
 
Sophomore Kyle Hughes (Pulaski, N.Y.) shot an 80 and junior Tim Tian (Beijing, China) shot an 82.
 
Concordia leads the competition with a 7-over par 295.
