WATERBURY, Conn. – Post University dressage coach Elizabeth Doering was named Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) Region B Coach of the Year. Doering is the first coach in the history of the team to earn the prestigious honor.
The dressage team competed in its final show of the season this past weekend at Horsebarn Hill Arena on the campus of UConn in Storrs, Conn. The Eagles finished in sixth place at the event despite being a rider down.
The award was voted on by all of the coaches in IDA Region B which consists of schools from Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
