Elkton, Md. – Sophomore
Carlos Fernandez-Herzog (Madrid, Spain) tied for first place individually and the Post University men's golf team finished in second place at the rain-shortened Revolutionary Collegiate Classic at the Patriots Glen National Golf Club on Saturday. The second round was not played due to inclement weather.
Fernandez-Herzog shot a 1-over par 73 to tie with Dan Altieri of Swarthmore for the title. The Eagles, as a team, shot a 26-over par 314, nine strokes behind the Swarthmore A team.
Right behind Fernandez-Herzog on the leaderboard was freshman
Matthieu Sicard (Marseille, France), who finished alone in third with a 3-over par 75.
Sophomore
Kyle Hughes (Pulaski, N.Y.) finished tied for 11
th with a 7-over par 79. Junior
Tim Tian (Beijing, China) shot a 15-over par 87 and freshman
Michael Erickson (Prospect, Conn.) shot a 17-over par 89.
