Eagles Tied For 13th After Round One At Barton Intercollegiate

Three Post Players Shoot A 79

Wilson, N.C. - The Post University men's golf team is tied for 13th after the first round of the Barton Intercollegiate at Wilson Country Club, shooting a 31-over par 319. 

Junior Tim Tian (Beijing, China), and freshmen Matthieu Sicard (Marseille, France) and Antonio Lopez-Woodsworth (Mexico City, Mexico) all finished with a 7-over par 79, tying them for 48th individually.

John Thatch of Mount Olive and Brian Norwitz of McDaniel College both shot a 2-under par 70 to take the first round lead. 

Southern New Hampshire, Mount Olive and McDaniel College all shot a 5-over par 293 and are tied for first place.

Sophomore Carlos Fernandez-Herzog (Madrid, Spain) shot an 82 and freshman Michael Erickson (Prospect, Conn.) shot an 86 to round out the scoring for the Eagles.
