WILMINGTON, Del. – The Post University women's tennis team lost its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match on Friday 7-2 at Goldey-Beacom. The Eagles are 7-3 overall and 5-3 in conference play.
Sophomore
Madison Young (Wellington, New Zealand) and senior
Natasha Siku (Gaborone, Botswana) won the Eagles only doubles point with an 8-6 victory over Raquel Morais and Lea Schumuecker at No. 2.
Junior
Liza Dubrovskaya (Rostov-on-Don, Russia) won a three-set thriller at No. 1 singles, 4-6, 6-4, 10-6 against Anna Hortelano Pey.
The Eagles conclude their CACC schedule on Sunday at Wilmington at 1 p.m. With a victory, Post will clinch the second seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
