Cicero, N.Y. – The Post University men's golf team finished in 11
th place at the Le Moyne Invitational on Monday afternoon after finishing with a 40-over par 616 at Lake Shore Yacht and Country Club. Its team score of 301 on Monday was a 14 stroke improvement from the previous day.
Southern New Hampshire took home the team title with a 2-over par 578 (296-282).
Individually, freshman
Fredrik Rollve (Asker, Norway) had the top score for the Eagles finishing with a 7-over par 151, good for a tie for 26
th place. He shot a 1-under par 71 in the second round after shooting an 80 in round one. Sophomore
Josh Conlan (Sheffield, England) finished with an 11-over par 155 (77-78), one stroke better than classmate
Matthieu Sicard (Marseille, France), who shot an impressive 1-over par 73 after shooting an 83 in round one.
Sophomore
Michael Erickson (Prospect, Conn.) had two rounds of 79 to finish with a 14-over par 158. Junior
Kyle Hughes (Pulaski, N.Y.) finished with a 15-over par 159 (79-80).
Colin Engelhardt of Rollins College was the medalist for the event, finishing at 3-under par (70-71). He finished two strokes ahead of Michael Frizalone of St. Thomas Aquinas, Leonard Lee of Dominican and Gavin Dugas and Drew Kane of Southern New Hampshire.
