Watertown, Conn. – A final round 4-over par 75 from sophomore
Matthieu Sicard (Marseille, France) helped lead the Post University men's golf B squad take home sixth place at the Post Eagles Invitational at Watertown Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon.
The B team finished the tournament with a 621 putting them at 53-over par (316-305), one stroke better than the A team who finished in seventh with a final score of 54-over par (312-310).
Wilmington won the team title at 24-over par (592). They beat out St. Thomas Aquinas, Le Moyne, and Southern New Hampshire who all finished two strokes behind in a three-way tie for second place.
Sicard's 7-over par 149 total made him the highest finisher of the tournament for the Eagles as he tied for ninth place. Freshman
Fredrik Rollve (Asker, Norway) also found himself in the top 20, finishing 11-over par.
First-round leader Kevin Gately of St. Thomas Aquinas was the medalist for the event, finishing with a 1-under par 141 (70-71), three strokes ahead of John Clare of Le Moyne.

Kyle Hughes (B) (Pulaski, N.Y.) and sophomore
Josh Conlan (A) (Sheffield, England) finished at 13-over par 155, while classmate
Michael Erickson (A) (Prospect, Conn.) shaved three strokes off his first round score with a 77 to finish with a 15-over par 157.
