PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Post University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships on Sunday afternoon at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, Pa. The men's team finished sixth while the women placed tenth overall. It was the third time the Eagles have ran on the course this season.
Junior
John Ducham (Waterbury, Conn.) placed fifth and ran his fastest time on the 8K course this season at 28.20.3. Ducham becomes the first Post runner to be named All-CACC after finishing in the top-15. Sophomore
Peter Kemboi (Turbo, Kenya) placed 26
th overall at a time of 29:52.0.
Freshman
Akia Callum (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was the Eagles' top women's runner, finishing 18
th at a time of 21:06.9. Sophomore
Emily McCann placed 47
th clocking in at 22:31.6 on the 5K course.
Wilmington took the men's race while Philadelphia was the women's champion.
Post will close out its season on Sunday, Nov. 8 at the NCAA Division II East Regional in Concord, N.H.
