Waltham, Ma. – The Post University women's tennis team continued its impressive season as it defeated Bentley, 6-3 in an out of conference match.
With the win, the Eagles have now won seven straight and are 7-1 on the season.
Post swept all the doubles matches. Sophomore Liza Dubrovskaya (Rostov-on-Don, Russia) and freshman Madison Young (New Zealand) won first doubles, 9-7. In second and third doubles both went 9-8. Junior Diana Perez (Miami, Fla.) and sophomore Brianna Miah's (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) match went 7-4 in the final game in second doubles and junior Natasha Siku (Gaborone, Botswana) and freshman Jessica Bergen (Bethel, Conn.) won 7-5 in their final game in third doubles.
Perez won 6-4, 6-2 over Ludmila Yamus in first singles, Dubrovskaya defeated Catherine Gianino, 6-3, 6-0 in second singles and Young beat Rachel Petrini 7-6 (7-4), 6-0.
Up next for the Eagles is a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference road match at Philadelphia on Oct. 3 at 1 p.m.
