Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University women's soccer team opens up its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference schedule this week as it takes on both Caldwell and Chestnut Hill this week.

A Look Back
In the first week of action, the Eagles topped Queens, 1-0 on September 4th, as freshman Katharina Mertz (Buxtehude, Germany) scored in the 61st minute on her very first shot attempt in her career. The defense for the Eagles limited Queens to just two shots.

In their last game, the Eagles lost a heartbreaker at Mercy, 1-0 as MacKenzie Cochrane of Mercy found the back side of the net on a free kick just outside the box.

Scouting The Cougars
The Cougars are the defending CACC tournament champions as they defeated Holy Family, 3-0 in last season's championship game. However, they have started this season 0-2, including a 4-0 loss to Franklin Pierce on Sept. 6. Caldwell has won four of the last five games against Post, including a 3-1 win last season at LaMoy Field. The Cougars return senior Natalie Migoya, who was second on the team in goals last season with eight. Conference player of the year from a season ago, Julie Crankshaw, graduated.
