MANCHESTER, Conn. – The Post University cross country team kicked off its season on Saturday morning at the Trinity Invitational at Wickham Park in Manchester, Conn. The men's team finished eighth, while the women competed individually.
 
Sophomore Ryan Acey (Plainville, Conn.) was the top men's finisher, clocking in at 18:49 on the 5K course, good for 27^th out of 84. Sophomore John Ducham (Waterbury, Conn.) was right behind him at 18:51 in 29^th place.
 
In the 4K women's race, freshman Deana-Jo Alberto (Waterbury, Conn.) led the way for Post finishing 33^rd out of 70 with a time of 20:17.
 
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the ECSU Invitational at Mansfield Hollow State Park in Mansfield, Conn.
