Eagles Place 17th At Cougar Invitational

Fernandez Leads Post With 76 Tuesday



Final Results

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Post University men's golf team placed 17th at the Cougar Invitational presented by Aflac at the Country Club of Columbus on Tuesday. The Eagles shot a 54-hole score of 955 (314-321-320).
 
Sophomore Tim Tian (Beijing, China) and freshman Kyle Hughes (Pulaski, N.Y.) each cared a 235 over three rounds to lead the Eagles. Hughes shot the second-best score in the final round with a 79 on Tuesday.
 
Freshman Carlos Fernandez (Madrid, Spain) shot a team-best 76 in the final round and finished with a 237 (81-80-76).
 
Post is back in action on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Northeast Challenge hosted by Southern New Hampshire at the Concord Country Club in Concord, N.H.
