Eagles 17th After First Two Rounds of Cougar Invitational

Post Shoots Rounds Of 314 and 321 On Day One



Results

COLUMBUS, Ga. – After the first two rounds of the Cougar Invitational presented by Aflac at the Country Club of Columbus on Monday, the Post University men's golf team sits in 17th place with a team score of 635. The Eagles played 36 holes and shot a 314 in round one and 321 in round two.
 
Sophomore Tim Tian (Beijing, China) carded a 155 (79-76) on Monday to lead the team. Freshman Kyle Hughes (Pulaski, N.Y.) sits one stroke behind him at 156 (74-82) and shot the team's best round of the day with a 74 in the opening round.
 
Freshman Carlos Fernandez (Madrid, Spain) shot Post's lone eagle of the day with a two on the par four 11th hole and finished with a 161 (81-80).
 
Post tees off tomorrow morning beginning at 8:05 a.m. in the final round.
